Syndica,
I LOVE music. I like all different kinds - I have been absolutely obsessed with Counting Crows since they came out in 1993 - have a tattoo of them. Blink 182, Nirvana, Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, are my other faves. Love a lot of bands from the 90's (a lot of bands people have forgotten about, I still listen to). And also bands such as REM (one of my all-time faves!!!), Journey, Elvis Costello, Blue Oyster Cult, etc. etc. My favorite music really though is anything punk, grunge, or ska. Rancid, The Misfits -- Streetlight Manifesto, Less Than Jake, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, etc. So I like mainly anything that's cool as hell like punk music to anything that's very passionate and emotional. Anything I can relate to. xox |

Syndica, thank you so much for posting this!!! I honestly don't know how I would survive life without my music. I like having my ipod with me from the
minute I wake up to when I go to sleep. I'd rather be addicted to music then anything else!!!

I only listen to contemporary christian music, on the radio or mp3 player. I've just found that since I stopped listening to other music, and just positive
music, I've been in a generally better mood. I do like other types of music, listen to some classical (played too much of it when I played violin in
school). They even have positive news on their site-well, at least you can chose which news item to read. Got to get ready for work tomorrow now. L

I love a huge variety of music, but I've discovered that Jazz helps me stay calm when driving in high stress situations and sitting traffic jams. My
favorite channel is on XM radio called "Real Jazz." I think it's channel 70. If traffic jams and crazy drivers make you want to scream or worse,
give Jazz a try. You might have the same success I had.

The music of laughter, a baby crying, people at funerals, singing at a church, the sounds of a busy city, military marching by, weddings.....................
life. If we stay quiet long enough we can hear what we normally would ignore.

The music that moves me is music that I connect with good times in my life
Sorrow is not a raven perched persistently above a chamber door.
Sorrow is a thing with teeth, and while in time it retreats, it comes back at the whisper of it's name. Dean Koontz The Good Guy p.249 |
