In essence I am the quintessential firstborn super-overachieving child in a family of overachievers of brilliant talented parents. I miss my mother terribly since her death in 1993 and wish my dad and I had had the time to get to know each other better. Distance and his declining health limit that opportunity now so we make the best of the relatioship we have. My therapist and pdoc continue to assist me in learning how to recover from and thrive in spite of a traumatic pass, multiple life threatening illnesses as a child and adult, and very fragile physical health. I am grateful for my faith in God and know whatever His plan for me I will continue to discover its meaning for my life daily if I listen for His voice in my heart.
